Our Story

At Tiensvold Farms, buffalo and organic farming is a way of life. Our farm is located on the western edge of the Nebraska sandhills and in the southern shadows of the Black Hills of South Dakota. Owned and operated by Mark and Ila Tiensvold, it has been certified organic since 1992.

Buffalo are a naturally hearty animal, having thrived on the North American Continent for thousands of years. So if you are interested in a healthier red meat or just a change of pace, we have buffalo meat available for shipment right to your door.  We use no implants or growth stimulants, and feed only organically grown hay and grains grown on our farm. We think you'll like what you eat!
